Shopping with Amazon Alexa
If you already have an Amazon Alexa device, you maybe have started asking her for the weather, or learned to set up your Flash Briefing. But, with the holidays coming up, I thought it was important that we all know how easy Alexa makes it to order things you need most. Here are just a few examples:
Try saying, "Alexa, find the best headphones." or "Alexa, what is the best selling digital camera?" Alexa then provides you with recommendations (and even shows you pictures if you've got an Echo Spot or an Echo Show). From there you can say "Buy this" or "Add to cart", if it's something you'd like to purchase. I've ordered a few things right now as I'm typing this. ;-)
Buy it Again:
If you have purchased household essentials in the past, Alexa makes reordering a breeze. For example, you could say, "Alexa, buy paper towels." and she'll suggest items based on your Amazon order history. Again, you can tell her to buy it or add to your cart when you see the item you'd like to purchase.
Check Delivery Status:
Just say, "Alexa, where's my stuff?" to keep track of all the packages you'll be ordering this holiday season.
If you have delivery notifications turned on, Alexa can even tell you right when your packages are at your door. Perfect for if you've got something valuable you don't want to leave sitting outside for long.
Just ask, "Alexa, what are my deals?" to see bargains recommended for you based on your browsing and purchase history.
